It’s time to end this chapter

Well, it is finally time to end this chapter. This will be the last Doc in the D posted as CEO, as I officially retire as of Sept. 4.

I have said this before but my foremost thought is gratitude. I am grateful for all of you, and grateful I had the opportunities presented to me during my career at Henry Ford. It was a great run.

You remain part of one of the greatest health care organizations in the country. Never forget the reason that you are here, for our patients and for each other.

I wish you nothing but personal and professional successes. Blue skies, calm winds, green grass, smiles and warmth.

  3. And we are grateful to you Dr. Popovich-for your long history and career at Henry Ford, for your care and concern and desire to place pts. first, for your vision for HFH and the City of Detroit, for all your travels to develop and foster relationships and share the great things happening at HF and for all of your hard work to make HF a great place to work and receive care.

  4. Thank-you Dr. Popovich, being the best kind of ambassador, for reaching out to patients who didn’t even know HFH could help them and opening the doors to usher them in. Thank-you for encouragement, motivation and dedication to do the right thing, for the right reason. I consider it an honor to have met you.
    Enjoy the next chapter!
